With the blessing of our respected Chief Patron, Sri V.S. Kuber, Chairman DR. B R Ambedkar Institute of Nursing & Prof. Sheela A.J. Williams, Principal, DR. B R AmbedkarInstitute of Nursing.

The 2nd year GNM Nursing Students of Dr. B R Ambedkar Institute Of Nursing organized Blood Donation Camp & Health Education on occasion of World Aids Day Program.

Students were divided into three groups. In this,
Group – A, performed Skit & Health Education.
Group - B, conducted Blood Donation Camp along with Blood Bank Staff
Group – C, overall management of both Skit and Blood Donation activities.

Blood donation camp commenced by 9.30 am & was inaugurated at Blood Bank, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital by Dr.Ravi Shankar, Blood Bank Officer, B R Ambedkar Medical College & Hospital Bengaluru. Out of 20 volunteers donated blood in which 18 are the students of Dr BRAIN. And all the donors are provided with Juice and Biscuits.

Blood Donation Camp was conducted successfully & no adverse reactions or complications reported and it ended by 2.30 PM.

Health Education was conducted at Sri Lal Bahaddur Shastri First Grade PU college Sultan Palya Bengaluru
Health education program started by 11.30 am.

Dr.Mohamed Manzoor Nouman, Principal, LBS GFGC, Bengaluru inaugurated the program by Presidential Speech.

Welcome speech was delivered by Dr.SurappaNaik NSS Programme Officer & Awareness Speech given by Mr.Akash H A NSS officer Dr BRAIN.Skit on awareness was performed by IInd GNM students following speech for the PU students.

Refreshment for World AIDS Day Program was Sponsored and Supported by Rotary Club Bengaluru.
Health education program ended successfully by 2.00 pm.

As per KSDNEB, III GNM annual theory examination was conducted from 07.12.2021 to 08.12.2021.

Dr.B.R.A.IN was the alloted as centre for conducting theory examination by KSDNEB and about 2 nursing schools were attached to the centre. Prof.Sheela A.J.Williams, Principal was the Chief superintendent.

Total no. of students attached schools were 86, in that 84students wrote the exams and 2 students were absent.

III GNM annual theory examination were conducted successfully.

As per KSDNEB, III GNM annual practical examination were successfully conducted from 10.12.2021 to 12.12.2021 at Dr.B.R.A.I.N

Answer scripts of GNM exam, KSDNEB Theory examination December 2021 was evaluated by 12 eligible evaluators of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Institute of Nursing from 12/12/2021 to 15/12/2021.

As per the instructions of Chairman Sri.V.S.Kuber sir, graduation day for the 2nd batch of M.Sc (N), 7th batch of B.Sc (N), 9th batch of P.B.B.Sc. (N) and diploma awarding of 31st batch of GNM students was held on 17.12.2021 at DR.B.R.A.I.N campus.

Guest of honour for the programme was Dr.N.T.Murali Mohan, treasurer, AS & ET & Chairman, Hospital Development Committee, Dr.BRAMCH.

Programme began at 2:30 P.M. with a procession by the out going batch students, were the students have marched from the entrance of the college till the stage, followed by the teaching faculty, Principal and the Guest of Honour.

At 2:50 P.M. invocation song was sung by Ms. Blessy and group.

At 3:00 P.M. welcome address was given to the gathering by our respected Principal madam Prof.Sheela A.J. Williams.

Graduation ceremony was inaugurated by the dignitaries at 3:10 P.M. by lighting the lamp.

At 3:20 P.M. Principal mam read the annual report of the academic year 2020-2021, in which all the curricular , co.curricular , extra curricular activities, and various programmes conducted were included.

At 3:40 P.M. graduating students were awarded with the certificates by the Guest of Honour-Dr.N.T.Murali Mohan, Principal- Prof.Sheela A.J. Williamsand Vice – Principal, Mrs.Lincy George.

At 4:00 P.M.Dr.N.T.Murali Mohan, Guest of Honour, addressed the gathering. Sir has encouraged, motivated and congratulated the graduating students for their successful completion of the respective courses. After the speech sir was felicitated by the Principal.

At 4:20 P.M. one representative from each batch of graduating students have given the feedback on their experiences about the journey in Dr.B.R.A.I.N throughout their course.

At 4:30 P.M. graduation ceremony officially winded up with a vote of thanks by Mr.Akash.H.A., Assoc. Professor , community health nursing department.

At 4:40 P.M. cultural programmes like folk dance and western dance were performed by the students of B.Sc (N) and GNM.

At 5:00 P.M. programme ended with National Anthem.

GNM annual results were announced on 18.12.2021.

Thirty six students appeared for 3rd year GNM exam. One student secured distinction, 32 students secured first class and 36 students pass class.

With the permission of our respected Chairman, SNA had organized the Christmas day programme on 22/12/2021 at 12:00 P.M. at quadrangle of Dr. B.R.A.I.N. Programme began with a welcome song by Ms. Angel and group at 12:00 P.M. Ms. Ayushma, II B.Sc (N) student welcomed the gathering at 12:05 P.M. A choir song based on Christmas theme was sung by 3rdB.Sc (N) students Ms. Preethi. C and group at 12:15 P.M. A beautiful Christmas message by given by to the gathering by Pastor. Dennis Davidson at 12:25 P.M. Christmas skit was performed by 1st year mstudents at 12:40 P.M. At 12:50 P.M. cake cutting was done by our respected chairman Sri. V.S. Kuber sir along with the Pastor. Dennis Davidson, and Mrs.Lincy George, Viceprincipal and followed which chairman sir had addressed the gathering on behalf of Christmas day programme. At 1:05 P.M. a choir song was sung by the teaching faculty. A Christmas dance was performed by the 1st Year B.Sc (N) students at 1:15 P.M. Programme was ended at 1:30 P.M. with an vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Anija student of III.B.Sc (N).

Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences Annual Undergraduate and Post Graduate results were announced on 23.12.2021.

Sixty four students appeared for 2nd year B.Sc (N) exam, 8 students secured first class, 26 students secured second class. Fifty eight students appeared for 3rd year B.Sc(N) exam and 22 students secured first class and 19 students secured second class. Forty seven students appeared for 4th year B.Sc(N) exam, 3 students secured Distinctions and 31 students secured first class and 9 students secured second class. Twenty two students appeared for 2nd PB B.Sc(N) and Three students secured first class and 16 students secured second class. Two students appeared for 2nd year M.Sc (N) and 2 students secured first class.

As per KSDNEB, GNM annual theory examination was conducted from 17.01.2022 to 20.01.2022.

Dr.B.R.A.IN was the alloted as centre for conducting theory examination by KSDNEB and about 3 nursing schools were attached to the centre. Prof.Sheela A.J.Williams, Principal was the Chief superintendent.

Total no. of students attached schools were 523, in that 495 students wrote the exams and 28 students were absent..

GNM annual theory examination were conducted successfully.

As per KSDNEB, I & II GNM annual practical examination were successfully conducted from 24.01.2022 to 31.01.2022 at Dr.B.R.A.I.N

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) Supplementary B.Sc Nursing, PB.B.Sc Nursing & M.Sc Nursing exams commenced on 02/02/2022 and ended on 21/02/2022 with Prestige College of Nursing attached to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Institute of Nursing and the Chief Superintendent was Prof. Sheela A.J Williams and the exam was conducted in a smooth manner.

Peripheral scanning of answer booklets took place at our centre from 02/02/2022 and ended on 21/02/2022 soon after each theory session got completed in the presence of Prof. Sheela A.J Williams, Principal & Chief Superintendent and Observer.

Answer scripts of B.Sc Nursing, PBB.Sc Nursing & M.Sc Nursing RGUHS Theory examination Feb 2022 was evaluated by 12 eligible evaluators of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Institute of Nursing from 03/02/2022 to till date.

With the permission of our respected Chairman Sri. V.S Kuber, and under the guidance of our beloved Principal Prof. Sheela A. J. Williams, Medical surgical nursing Department had organised Cancer Day Awareness programme. The programme commenced at 11am and unveiling the theme - “Close the care gap – Realising the Problem” was done by Mrs. Lincy George, Vice Principal of Dr.B.R.A.I.N. Deputy Nursing Superintendent - Ms.Kempamma, Assistant Nursing Superintendent - Mrs.Lakshmamma and Nursing Staff of Dr.B.R.AMC&H participated. The students of 3rd year B.Sc(N) were divided into 5 groups and thirteen in-patients caretakers were gathered at Female and Male Medical Ward and health education was conducted on prevention of Oral cancer, Breast cancer, Cervical cancer, Lung Cancer and Stomach Cancer. The programme was organized by Medical Surgical Nursing Department. Health education program ended successfully by 1.00pm.

With the permission of our respected Chairman Sri. V.S Kuber, and under the guidance of our beloved Principal Prof. Sheela A. J. Williams. Continuing Nursing Education Programme was conducted at Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital on 19.02.2022 at 12pm for our staff nurses on Care of Patients unit and Eight Staff nurses attended the programme and the programme ended at 1pm.

Quiz on National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme was conducted by Unit of NTEP, Dr.BRAMCH among 42 2nd year B.Sc Nursing students.

Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences Annual Post Graduate results were announced on 23.02.2022.

Five students appeared for 1st year M.Sc (N) and one student secured distinction,three student secured first class.
